The lucid automotive company made a new electric model. Lucid Gravity is expected to launch in 2023; the Gravity is being developed on the same platform as Lucid's Air sedan and is due to start deliveries in 2023. The Air is expected to start deliveries this spring 2022. Lucid has already teased the Gravity design with its Project Gravity concept in the drawings is almost identical, though the front overhang looks to be longer. Lucid will claim 517 miles on a charge, recover up to 300 miles with just a 20-minute fast charge, and run the quarter-mile in a time of 9.9 seconds. While the SUV body style, they're still likely to be at the top end.
Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson said the company plans to explore a "whole range of product possibilities" based on the Air's platform, a modular design referred to as LEAP (Lucid Electric Advanced Platform). Lucid designed the platform and many of its components in-house.
