Hyundai Motor Company IONIQ 3 is a fully electric compact hatchback developed primarily for the European market. Hyundai officially introduced it in April 2026, with the 2027 model year expected for production/sales. It uses Hyundai Motor Group’s 400-volt E-GMP platform and features a sleek “Aero Hatch” design that combines aerodynamic efficiency with a spacious five-seat cabin. The IONIQ 3 is offered with 42.2 kWh Standard Range and 61 kWh Long Range batteries, with projected WLTP ranges of approximately 344 km and 496 km, respectively. Its front-mounted electric motor produces up to 147 PS (108 kW) and 250 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 170 km/h. DC fast charging from 10–80% takes around 29–30 minutes. It also offers Hyundai SmartSense driver-assistance technology, Pleos Connect infotainment, V2X capability, and a practical 441-liter luggage capacity including the Megabox.
