The 2024 Audi SQ8 Sportback e-tron SUV is a facelifted and upgraded version of the e-tron Sportback S, which was Audi's first electric SUV. It is a sleek coupe-style sibling of the SQ8 e-tron mid-size electric SUV and is expected to be released in the USA later this year. The Sportback version has already been unveiled in Europe, and won't differ too much from the local car.
Performance: The new SQ8 Sportback e-tron comes with a tri-motor setup, delivering a total of 496 horsepower, a fixed-ratio transmission, and Quattro AWD. It has a larger 106-kWh battery capacity, which can be charged at a rate of up to 170 kW, taking only 31 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. The range on a full charge is improved from the previous version, making it more competitive with rivals like the Cadillac Lyriq and BMW iX.
Exterior: With the SQ8 name comes a refreshed exterior appearance, including Digital Matrix LED headlights, Audi's new logo, and a restyled inverted three-dimensional Audi Single frame grille.
