Volkswagen is giving a first design preview of Project Trinity: The electrically powered sedan is to be built in Wolfsburg in 2026. Volkswagen is one step closer to launching its Project Trinity electric saloon. Volkswagen has released a few teaser images of the upcoming car, although they reveal little more than the fact car will be long, low, and likely take the shape of a four-door coupe. Project Trinity will be an all-electric saloon, based on a new platform, which Volkswagen says will set new standards for range, charging speeds, and autonomous driving. Eventually, all new cars produced by the Volkswagen group will use this chassis technology, which can accommodate electric motors producing between 115hp and more than 1,150hp.
