Many fans of pony cars were incensed when Ford introduced the Mustang Mach-E in November 2019 because it dared to call an EV and SUV by the legendary moniker. Ford's best-selling electric car at the moment, the Mach-E, has replaced the Mustang in the lineup. Ford is now the second-best-selling brand of EVs in the US, thanks to the Mach-E.

Most people have gotten used to the Ford Mustang Mach-Extraordinary E naming scheme and now see the electric SUV as an interesting EV after being available for several years. We expect the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E to be a carryover model as the Mach-E is about to enter its fourth model year of sales. Ford is not anticipated to update the external styling of the Mach-E for 2024. Although the electric SUV will have a unique look, it will continue to draw inspiration from the Mustang. The EV has athletic details such as a rounded snout, small headlamps, and a front end without a grille. Sequential taillights, a rakish roof line, and a sizable rear spoiler are all athletic aspects of the SUV's back end. Ford's Pony Badges are on the Mach-E, much like the Mustang sports car.

Several powertrain options are now offered for the all-electric Mach-E. A larger 91-kWh battery pack or a smaller 70-kWh battery is both options for the SUV. They can be paired with one or two rear electric motors (one on each axle). Power output varies between 266 and 480 horsepower. Mach-E range varies by configuration, though it can go anywhere from 224 to 312 miles. For 2024, we do not expect any modifications to Mach-E's capabilities or operating range.

We expect the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E to be available for purchase in the summer of 2023 due to supply and demand concerns. The price range for the 2024 model should remain between $48,195 and $77,195.
