At last year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony stated that it has no plans to sell the Vision-S01 electric sedan, instead claiming that it is only for testing autonomous driving technology. The tech company's ambitions seem to have changed this year, as it plans to enter the market as soon as possible, featuring a new Vision-S 02 SUV that can seat seven passengers. This SUV is similar in size to the Tesla Model Y, one of the best-selling electric vehicles last year. A dual motor setup provides all-wheel drive and 536 horsepower, but Sony has not yet revealed any details about the battery pack or made any claims about the range. We expected that the range of the car is 330 miles. Sony Vision-S 02 SUV’s dimension has 192.7 inches in length, 65.0 inches in height, and 76.0 inches in width. It has 119.3 inches wheelbase and 6.2 inches of ground clearance. The weight of the car is 5467 lbs and it has All-Wheel Drive. Sony is testing the Level 2 driver assistance system in Europe using the Vision-S01 sedan, which debuted last year. Under the name of, the company intends to launch Vision-S 02 in the growing EV market. The Vision-S 02's 0-100 km time is also expected to be slightly slower than the sedan's 4.8 seconds.
