At last year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony stated that it has no plans to sell the Vision-S01 electric sedan, instead claiming that it is only for testing autonomous driving technology. The tech company's ambitions seem to have changed this year, as it plans to enter the market as soon as possible, featuring a new Vision-S 02 SUV that can seat seven passengers. This SUV is similar in size to the Tesla Model Y, one of the best-selling electric vehicles last year. A dual motor setup provides all-wheel drive and 536 horsepower, but Sony has not yet revealed any details about the battery pack or made any claims about the range. Sony is testing the Level 2 driver assistance system in Europe using the Vision-S01 sedan, which debuted last year.
