The new SEAT Minimo, an all-electric quadricycle concept, has been revealed to the public at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. We will get to see a production version in 2021, according to SEAT. The Minimo has been designed and developed by combining the safety and comfort of a car with the ease of parking of a motorcycle. Seating two passengers happily, this completely electric concept car has been created with an integrated battery swap system, enabling full vehicle battery charging in just a few minutes to provide a range of more than 100 kilometers. Minimo is 2.5m long and 1.24 m wide, the Minimo will only cover 3.1 square meters of space versus the 7.2 square meters of a normal car, considerably reducing its ecological footprint when city-driving. Its top speed is 45 or 90 km/h. Additional features are the Google Assistant on Android Auto, 17-inch alloy wheels, asymmetrically-sized doors built to operate in tight spaces, and a single central headlight. The SEAT Minimo concept comes with a 15 kWh battery pack coupled to an electric motor, which gives the vehicle a maximum driving range of about 100 km (62 miles). While SEAT claims that the battery can be charged in a few minutes, the Minimo concept comes with the battery pack under its floor, which can be removed and replaced with another charged battery pack in a matter of seconds.
