The Japanese automotive manufacturer Aspark produces an all-electric battery power sports car Aspark Owl. It is dry weight is 4189 pounds; the rest of the body is made up of lightweight carbon fiber and the carbon monologue weighs in at 265 pounds. An active rear wing fully extends at 93 mph to increase downforce and the side glass was streamlined to achieve peak aerodynamics. The four-piston in the rear and it's fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes on each corner with 10-piston calipers in the front. Aspark is taking orders for the Owl at a starting price that's the equivalent of $3.2 million and production will be limited to 50 units worldwide. After years of testing, Japanese electric hypercar company Aspark has released some mind-bending specs for an electric hypercar named the Owl: plus 1475 lb-ft of torque, 1984 horsepower, and claimed zero-to-60-mph time of 1.7 seconds. It is a 64.0-kWh lithium-ion battery pack with which Aspark promises 280 miles of driving range, providing that insane amount of power are four electric motors and what it claims is a unique torque-vectoring system. The lithium-ion battery fully charges in 80 minutes—though Aspark says it intends to make it even more efficient in the future and the Owl's claimed top speed is 249 mph. Aspark says the Owl, with a 0-60mph target of under 1.7sec made its public debut in Dubai last year and is actually able to go even faster. The motors rotate at up to 15,000rpm and the power train also generates around 1475lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 249mph. It is believed it could have been done when we first announced this project. They’re 25 offices around the world through various engineering endeavors and busy folks over there and have grown the company to more than 3,000 staff. The production center for the OWL is in the heart of hypercar manufacturing in Turin in Italy, and is based on the development where it can work closely with its partners on bringing this behemoth to customers. As with all cars designed for these speeds, aerodynamics has obviously played a huge part in the design.
