Introduced:
Triumph Daytona 660 Revealed Globally with 93bhp, India Launch Soon. Triumph has revived the legendary Daytona moniker for a middleweight sports bike with the worldwide unveiling of the brand-new 660. The Trident 660 and Tiger 660 share a 660cc engine, giving the Daytona 660 intuitive, nimble sports handling and all-day comfort. There are three riding modes available on Triumph 660s—Road, Rain, and Sport. At 201 kg, it's 12 kilograms heavier than the Trident.
Engine:
Powering the newly revealed Triumph Daytona is a strong 660cc triple engine that produces 95bhp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. Significant improvements are made while keeping the frame and the majority of the components of the bike unchanged.
Features:
The '675' model clearly served as an inspiration for the Daytona 660's design philosophy. Instead of going for an angular, edgy supersport style, Triumph has gone for a more refined appearance with smooth curves and clean lines. The motorcycle has an aggressive stance up front with a central air intake and dual LED headlamps on either side. A '660' race-inspired design will be offered on one of the three colour options for the Daytona 660.
Design:
The older ‘675’ model definitely inspires the design of the Daytona 660. Triumph has gone for clean lines and a more rounded, curved look rather than the supersport being outright edgy. The front end gets twin LED headlights with a central air intake. The overall stance is athletic, and the motorcycle will be available in three different colour choices, including a ‘660’ race-inspired graphic.
