The Jeep has announced a new electric vehicle with an X-Men-inspired name: the Wrangler Magneto. The Jeep Wrangler Magneto EV is a battery-powered iconic version off-road SUV. On the surface, Jeep Wrangler Magneto EV looks like your typical two-door, but on the inside base, the Magneto has four battery packs with a combined output of 285 horsepower.
The Jeep Wrangler Magneto EV takes a slightly different approach to the multi-speed EV concept; designers installed a low-speed electric motor. Jeep says the Magneto concept can get to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds.
It has provided a 70 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with 285 horsepower. Expect that the model production arrives later in 2022.
