Introduced:
Honda has launched the 2024 CBR600RR in Europe. The Japanese supersport has made a comeback after years of hiatus and harps back the predecessor's character while taking inspiration from the most modern CBR model in the litre class category.
Design:
The new Honda CBR600RR gets a sleek and aggressive bodywork. Its silhouette is of a proper supersport motorcycle, with low clip-ons, rear set footpegs, and a crouched riding position. That said, Honda has equipped the 2024 CBR600RR with an under-seat exhaust system, similar to the previous model. It is available in two paint schemes – Grand Pix Red and Matte Ballistic Black.
Engine:
Honda has powered the 2024 CBR600RR with a 599cc inline four-cylinder engine, and it makes 119bhp and 63Nm. The gearbox has six speeds connected to the motor. And gets a quick-shifter for clutchless upshifts. The list of electronics on the new CBR600RR includes fully digital TFT, traction control, a six-axis IMU, five riding modes with one custom mode, anti-wheelie, and dual-channel ABS.
Hardware:
The hardware on the 2024 Honda CBR600RR comprises fully adjustable Showa USD front forks and a mono-shock. Twin 310mm front discs do its braking duties and a 220mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear Dunlop tyres.
