Introduced:
Lime unveils the Gen4 Seated e-scooter, which allows riders to take a seat. Lime has rolled out the Gen4 Seated e-scooter in its operations in San Francisco and Chicago. The Gen4 Seated was piloted earlier this year and targeted older users with reduced physical mobility. The Gen4 Seated will further launch in other cities in the US, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.
Comfort and features:
According to Lime, its new mobility solution, the Gen4 Seated, will make micromobility more approachable and allow for added comfort. When the e-scooter is paired with Lime’s fresh storage compartment, it offers greater versatility. Lime says that internal storage is a vital issue in choosing a micro-mobility rental vehicle. The Gen4 Seated is accessed via the app, as is the brand’s existing fleet.
Battery:
The Lime Gen4 Seated e-scooter uses a system with interchangeable batteries, meaning that the battery is simple to change and remove, requiring no tools. This makes it easy for Lime to keep its scooters charged and ready to use, and it also gives riders the flexibility to swap out batteries if they need to extend their ride.
