svitch csr 762 overview

Svitch CSR 762 Electric Motorcycle Launched in India at Rs 1.90 Lakh; Claims 120km/h Top Speed. The newly launched Switch CSR 762 will be a direct competitor to the Tork Kratos R and the Matter Aera in the Indian market. According to Switch, creativity, sustainability, and a passion for riding are the driving forces behind the construction of the electric bike. With its brand-new offering, it hopes to improve urban mobility and establish a new standard for the industry.

A mid-mounted 3kW PMS electric motor with a maximum output of 13.4bhp powers the CSR 762. Additionally, it comes with two 3.6kWh lithium-ion swappable batteries, which are said to offer 190 kilometres of range per charge. It's significant to note that since the production version was first announced, this range has increased by about 30 kilometres. Switch highlights that to maintain peak performance over an extended period, the e-bike uses air-cooling technology for the motor and other components. Its top speed is 120km/h.

The Svitch electric motorcycle weighs 200 kgs (wet) and 155 kgs (kerb) and has a 1430mm wheelbase. Further, it comes with a 24-degree rake angle and a seat height of 810mm. The bike has five riding modes as well as an additional parking mode. A 5-inch TFT display, a steel skeleton frame, and 17-inch wheels wrapped on 110/80 front and 140/70 rear tyres are among other notable features of the electric bike. The hardware components of the motorcycle include 300mm front and 280mm rear discs with a combi braking arrangement, as well as telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
