Introduced:
Auper InCity Electric Motorcycle Is Designed for Brazil’s Busy Streets. The urban electric two-wheeler focuses on safety, security, and performance. From a styling perspective, the Super InCity is thoroughly futuristic, boasting a sleek silhouette and streamlined design. With that being said, the InCity’s head-turning looks are merely the cherry atop this techie two-wheeler. Best of all, Auper hopes to launch the InCity in Brazil for a very affordable price. Once established, the bike is expected to retail for less than 18,000 Brazilian reals, or about $5,000.
Battery and motor:
The InCity makes use of a magnet-free electric motor developed by the company’s partner Enedym Inc. Auper claims that the motor propels the bike to a top speed of 150 kilometres per hour (94 miles an hour) and an impressive zero to 60 mile-per-hour sprint of just five seconds. As for the battery, it gets a 4.8-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack that can provide up to 60 miles of range on a single charge.
Features:
All these features can be managed via Auper’s IIC, or Intelligent Instrument Cluster, which serves as a speedometer and battery monitor when riding and provides traffic information and performance metrics when stopped.
Safety features:
Auper boasts an extensive array of safety features, precisely thanks to what it’s calling the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU). The device serves as a central hub for the bike’s advanced safety and security features, translating to improved reliability and lower cost.
