Introduced:

Kawasaki Eliminator with 451cc Parallel-Twin Engine Launched in India at Rs 5.62 Lakh. The Kawasaki Eliminator weighs 8 kg more than the Ninja 400, with a curb weight of 176 kg. Meanwhile, the ground clearance is marked at 150mm. The Kawasaki Eliminator comes in a single colour option – Metallic Flat Spark Black.

Engine:

The new 451cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine in the Eliminator gets a 6.8mm longer stroke, larger 32mm throttle bodies, and a bigger 5.8-litre airbox. Thanks to this, the machine offers better low-end torque delivery and increased displacement. Power and torque figures are rated at 45bhp at 9,000rpm and 42.6Nm at 6,000rpm, respectively. A 6-speed gearbox handles the gearbox responsibilities unit and a slip-and-assist clutch.

Hardware:

In Kawasaki's cruiser line-up, the Eliminator sits below the Vulcan S. Similar to the US-spec Eliminator, the India-spec bike is underpinned by a new steel trellis frame, suspended by a 41mm telescopic fork at the front (with 120mm of wheel travel) and a twin shock absorber set-up at the rear (with 90mm of wheel travel). Meanwhile, the braking hardware consists of two discs, one measuring 310 mm and featuring twin-piston callipers up front and one measuring 240 mm and dual-piston callipers at the rear.

Features:

The Eliminator features a traditional cruiser design with a touch of nostalgia. It has circular LED headlamps, a low seat and, flat handlebars, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a low-slung profile, and a long tail. The styling is complemented by LED lighting and a circular LCD screen. Other bits are an assist and slipper clutch, smartphone connectivity, and Kawasaki's ergo-fit system that enables Bikers to adjust their bikes to fit their comfort level and height. When combined, the Eliminator is supposed to provide you with a comfortable riding experience.
