Engine and Gearbox:

The Royal Enfield Himalayan received a substantial mechanical overhaul as well. Now, this new mill belts out 40Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm and 39.5bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm. The unit is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a standard slip-and-assist clutch. To add even more appeal, Royal Enfield equipped the new Himalayan with a ride mode button that allows you to toggle between Eco and Performance modes.

Hardware:

A pre-load adjustable mono-shock deals with the suspension tasks at the rear with 200mm of travel and 43mm USD forks up front. Two discs, one at the back and one at the front, both measuring 320mm, are used for braking. The motorcycle has a 17-litre fuel tank and weighs 196 kg. It has 17-inch rear wheels and 21-inch front wheels with dual-purpose tyres.
