Introduced:
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 2024 has been launched on January 2024. The new Vitpilen 250 is based on the new KTM 250 Duke and shares the same frame and suspension as well as the engine. What’s unique to the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is its unmistakable Swedish design, and for 2024, the Vitpilen looks like an evolution of the previous bike. The round, LED headlight, along with the LED DRL, is characteristically Husqvarna, and so is the almost flat-panelled tank cover that dominates, visually owing to its white colour.
Design:
Other notable design features that grab attention include the front fender, single-piece seat, copper-bronze finishing on the engine cases, the fuel cap, fluorescent coloured stripe, and alloy wheels. In all, the bike looks attractive and unique while also being more significant than the outgoing bike. In terms of features, it gets a new five-inch LCD, traction control, ride-by-wire, Quickshifter +, switchable ABS, and a Type-C charging port.
Engine:
Powering the bike is a 249.07cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 30.57bhp at 9,500rpm and 25Nm at 7500rpm. The fuel tank capacity has gone up from 9.5-litre to 13.5-litre and the kerb weight now stands at 163.8kg.
Hardware:
Under the pretty bodywork is a steel trellis frame that’s suspended by a 43mm USD fork by WP and a preload adjustable mono-shock. The bike gets a 320mm disc at the front with sintered pads and a 240mm disc at the rear.
