Volkswagen produces Volkswagen ID. Buzz known as the VW Electric Microbus is an electric minivan based on the electric MEB platform. It is the second concept vehicle to be shown from the I.D. series of MEB-based electric vehicles.

Both the new ID is a passenger and cargo version. ID. Buzz has a unique center console design developed by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. It has a large upper storage bin and other space for items as large as a laptop computer. In the ID. The Buzz Cargo is located between the front seats of the console, but in the passenger van, it can fit in both rows of seats and move in or out as needed. European ID Buzz comes with an 82-kWh battery and an electric motor that produces 201 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque. While many EVs are known for quick torque and strong speed, ID. Buzz comes with a limited speed of only 90 miles per hour. VW notes that it will release other battery capabilities and motor configurations down the road. VW installed the battery pack under the load floor to reduce the center of gravity of the van and improve handling. Using DC fast charging says VW ID. Buzz can charge 5 to 80% in 30 minutes. In Europe, the van also offers two-way charging, enabling the van to provide limited power to homes and businesses using an optional wallbox. 

Equipped with Volkswagen ID. Buzz with a few advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) as standard and optional features include Adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, Blind-spot warning, Automatic parking assist, and a Surround-view camera system.  Volkswagen gives details on their infotainment system, but we're expecting Android Auto, Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and other devices available on other standard vehicles.
