The Chinese manufacturer BYD Auto produced BYD Dolphin 2024, an upcoming electric subcompact hatchback expected to be launched in 2023. It was first unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2021. The upcoming model will be presented three months later, the name of BYD Dolphin 2024. The Dolphin is just over four meters long, 1.57 meters high, and 1.77 meters wide, with a wheelbase of 2.70 meters. It will have installed a 30.7kWh battery capacity, the peak power of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is 70 kW, and the top speed is 150 km/h. BYD Dolphin has 800V flash charging technology, charging 5 minutes and driving 150km. BYD Automobile announced the five color-matching styles and official names of the Dolphin models, namely Surf Blue, Saucy Green, Honey Orange, Pupu Pink, and Sparkling Blue colors. The HARMAN sound system in BYD Dolphin will feature an eight-channel amplifier, subwoofer, and ten speakers.
