General Motors’ Cadillac division made the Cadillac Celestiq an upcoming electric automobile, expected to begin sales in 2025. One of the advanced features is its smart glass roof, manufactured by Research Frontiers. Other reported features include four-wheel steering, all-wheel drive, and a dashboard-length touchscreen. The Cadillac Celestiq EV will be built on the Ultium battery platform, a driving range of 300 miles or more, dual-motor all-wheel drive is also available, and it will also have four-wheel steering, likely the same system as already showcased on the GMC Hummer EV. The Celestiq is the sister car to the upcoming Lyriq SUV, Shown at the 2021 CES trade show, but it promises even more groundbreaking technologies, the cabin looks to be extra-spacious, including transparent glass roof panels, and a huge infotainment display that runs entirely the width of the dashboard.
