The Skoda manufacturer produced Enyaq an all-electric SUV, and the first ground-up EV Skoda has come up with. The interior of the Skoda Enyaq is more appealing from the off, it’s smartly designed and gets nice fabric. It looks and feels really good even in the cheaper models. There’s plenty of adjustment and a clown-faced steering wheel too, in the seats. There are two battery versions of the Skoda Enyaq_ the 80kwh and the 60kwh. The 80 takes capacity up to 82kWh, plus a more powerful 204hp electric motor, with 333 miles of range. The 60 uses a 62kWh battery pack that will return 256 miles between charges, plus a 180hp electric motor.
If you have a 7KW home charger it will take around nine hours to charge from empty to full and that will cost around a tenner.
Skoda provides many features in every version of the Enyaq get a 13-inch infotainment system as standard, though it’s not the best on the market. There’s a rather tiny digital driver’s display, though it is functional enough. It’s a bit laggy at times and the ‘Laura’ voice command system is temperamental at best. Material quality is a bit of a downgrade back there though, and you’ll have to pay extra for USBs in the back. It is available in solid – Energy blue, metallic – arctic silver, metallic – brilliant silver, metallic – moon white, metallic – quartz grey, metallic – race blue, pearl – black magic exclusive paint – velvet red colors.
