Ford has confirmed that the electric version of the Ford Explorer will be unveiled at the end of 2023, possibly for the 2024 model year. Unfortunately, the Explorer EV specs and horsepower figures have not been released. As it stands, the car is expected to be Ford's first three-row 100% electric SUV. Ford Explorer EV produces 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Each version of the Explorer combines its engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Although it is not clear exactly where the Explorer will land, the EV offers a growing field of rivals between 250 and 300 miles.
